sensuIf you're not familiar with KickStarter.com you should be. Please do. Go there. Kickstarter is a great example of e-philanthropy, a great interest of mine. It allows you to help fund a new product development like this product, publishing of artists and musicians, environmental causes… culture, charity, creativity… this is digital inspiration. People with limited resources coming together through the internet to do great, powerful things. A "new way to fund and follow creativity".

We've helped support several projects here, and this one caught our eye. The Sensu Brush. An authentic brush to use with our favorite drawing and painting apps on iPhone and iPad. A art-centric product development firm here in Chicago, Artist Hardware, Inc. has developed a prototype and their funding goal of $7,500 for manufacturing has already been exceeded several times over on Kickstarter. As of today, 883 backers have invested $31,658 to help make this product a reality.

The Sensu Brush is a great example of how Kickstarter allows entreprenuers to engage the rest of us in creating things. Watch their promo video, and read the Kickstarter page for the Sensu Brush to find out more about this cool project. You can help back this product for as little as a dollar.

Universal, Huh?

peelYa know that feeling you get when the TV remote is nowhere near the TV it controls, again? How often do you misplace your iPhone?

Peel, is The Fruit. It allows you to control your entertainment from a beautiful iPhone app, and get all 2.0 about it. It's sort of brilliant, in that it uses WiFi to connect you to a translater... the real remote... that sits on your table, or completely out of site (I'm thinkin').

Looking forward to an actual review of this product. Take a look at their promo, and visit peel.com to get one.
